Meet Dr. Daniel Cho

Dr. Daniel Cho is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the only certifying board in the specialty that is recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists. Not all Orthodontists are Board Certified Orthodontists. Only a select few have achieved Board Certification from the American Board of Orthodontics. As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Cho pursues excellence in every step of his patients’ Orthodontist care.

Dr. Cho attended the University of Pennsylvania, College of Art and Science, with double majors in biology and economics. During his time at UPenn, he received Dean’s List and graduated with magna cum laude. Then, he continued his graduate education at the University of Pennsylvania for his dental education. After achieving a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UPenn, Dr. Cho practiced in private practices located in Pennsylvania and Maryland for many years. During his private practice, his interest in Orthodontics grew as he witnessed how Orthodontics can improve the quality of life for his patients by providing healthy and conservative treatment as well as esthetic improvement. Once Dr. Cho decided that Orthodontics was the profession he would commit himself to, he pursued further training in Orthodontics. He was accepted into the Orthodontic Residency program at Georgia School of Orthodontics. After completing the extensive orthodontic training, he went a step further to become board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.  

On a personal note, Dr. Cho met his beautiful wife, Dr. Jee-Eun Kim, while studying at UPenn Dental School. He is happily married to his wife, and they feel blessed to have three exceptional children: Lydia, Joshua, and Paul. When Dr. Cho does not create beautiful smiles, he enjoys playing tennis, golf, and traveling with his family. He also serves as a Sunday school teacher for the youth group at his local church. 

Dr. Cho’s philosophy is simple and clear: He listens to his patients thoroughly and provides the best and most dedicated care possible. He strongly believes in the importance of high-quality customer service and excellent communication while working with patients to achieve their best smiles.
